almost nice gullwing replica

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160285634616

For upwards of $180K, could they have included a more suitable shift knob???

And what 300E came with an M110?

The rectangular plastic A/C vents aren't too swift either. It's OK, but that's a bunch of money for a fake.

Think of it as a "tribute" car.

Nice, but with a 180K starting price you would think they could get the description correct eg: its a six cylinder not an eight as the description reads; Body type:CoupeEngine:8 CylinderExterior color:Black Transmission:ManualFuel type:GasolineInterior color:Tan Drivetrain:5 SPEEDDisability equipped:--

I wouldn't go over 100K based on that alone

But then again, it is out of my budget and I would not bid on it unless I won the lottery.

Its pretty convincing except for the engine, shift knob and steering wheel.

I don't think I have ever seen a gullwing in black before....no, maybe I have....Picasso's son? The car originally belonged to Pablo IIRC.

It may be fast, but its still a FORD. I'd not want to see that on my steering wheel....

I dont know if you watched the Top Gear piece on it, but its fairly British.

That Gullwing is like just wrong... Give me the purebred GT, and I will be happy.

If I owned a Gullwing I'd be afraid to drive it, fearing some moron would smash it. Now, the replica I'd drive, because I'd not have to worry as much about a "real gullwing" getting trashed. Then again, the replica probably doesn't drive at all like the real thing.....so I'd probably not want it.

I'll take an SL...

Got one of those. Fun as hell to drive, and turn many, many heads!

Although, I get more amusement driving the G500.... Something about a 3 ton tank with a pretty muscular V8 is cool...

Picking between a G-class and an SL would be a very tough call....I'd probably go with the G, just because of Michigan weather....SL would not be as practical.

It seriously is a real tough call....

The G is just that much more fun to drive than the SL. Granted the SL is like twice as fast, the G is just that little bit more fun to drive....

With that said, anyone want to race?
