ABS cement vs PVC cement
As I recall, the can used to have both names on it. But the stuff I bought recently just says ABS cement. I have ONE SMALL PVC joint to glue. Can I just use the ABS cement? What's the big diff?

ABS is not designed for high pressure. If the PVC joint is for waterline pressure then use the PVC glue. If it's just for flow (drain, low pressure irrigation, ornamental purposes) then the ABS glue will work.

ABS is a soft type of plastic like your bumper. As stated the glue wont work for high pressure applications.

Only use ABS cement when assembling ABS brake components...
...unless you have an AMG model, in which case you need to first do a 50-50 mix with AMG cement....
