Paid $2.83 for unleaded today

Bought it at Costo. Any thoughts as to how it could drop so rapidly from $3.70 a couple of weeks ago?

Tanking economy? Investor fears? Oil is out of the news for now? "Experts" not talking about oil? Filled my tank up for less than $50... has not happened for a while!

In Atlanta? Last I heard, gas was a rare product there.

I don't think it will ever go back to under $1 / gallon.

Diesel around here seems to be dropping pretty quick, so I didn't get fuel last week. I'll see how long I can wait.
