Gumout Carb cleaner into a FI engine

OK, Menards by me always has rebates. Buy something for 2 bucks, get a 2 buck rebate. Sometimes good stuff, sometimes ..
I've got screwdriver sets everywhere (even a spare set or two), and enough box cutter knives to last almost forever.

But I got a couple of bottles of Gumout Carb cleaner, figured I use it in the tractor, snowblower etc.

But I have enough I could toss one in the SL, or my Escape. Both are FIs.

Any issue's ?

Will it do any good, or just a waste ?

It'll thoroughly clean the intake but, I'm not convinced that it will help the engine in any fashion. The stuff did wonders for carburetors.........cleaned them to the point of nearly new..........without taking them completely apart.

I know that stuff isn't good for throttle body's. I don't think it would be good for injectors either.
I wouldn't use anything but Injector cleaner myself.
