Is This Brilliant or What????

You buy a pizza and get your change back in 1 share each of Citi, Ford and GM.

Or do you just want fries with that?

The way things are going I'll be happy if I can afford to buy pizza next year. Might be going on a depression era diet!

I Said It First (Approximately)

The stock and credit markets haven’t been fooled. They have started to price financial stocks at Great Depression levels, not just recession levels. With $5, you can now buy one share of Citigroup and have enough left over for a bite at McDonalds.

It's scary. I've seen a good-sized chunk of my life savings disappear almost overnight. I've been through a lot of corrections, but never anything of this magnitude.

I know I'm not alone in this, but somehow, I still don't find that fact very comforting . . .

Me too.

I've been buying on down days, which shows how dumb I am.

They keep going downer.

One of the great investors (maybe Templeton??) made his 1st fortune buying shares in ALL of the lowest price stocks at the bottom of the Great Depression. The ones that didn't disappear rewarded him handsomely.

Seems to me that if you buy each of Citi, GM and Ford, you know that at least one will be around....

I'll take the fries, I'll be in the crematorium before the stock goes back up.

You're definitely not alone.

When you buy stocks on margin, the problems are significantly worse and it's testing every ounce of strength and every penny of resources that I have.

As in the past, I never believed it would fall to these levels.

I'm a charter member of that club. I really liked Ford at $4.00 and Citibank at $10.00.
