Readstown is about 30-40 miles driving from me...what are the specifics? Approx. weight? No bullet holes in the block? Engine in/out of vehicle? PM me...I've got some free time today...

well, the engine I found in my town is still there and im going to get it tuesday(called today and they are moving the car out for me)
so this was a plan B... but just for the fun its an eagle premier 3.0 V6 to go into my delorean( its the same engine but with 10 years of improvements, larger displacement, EFI) zero mile crate engine sitting on a piece of plywood, no pallet. weighs probably 350-375lbs |

yea, its a trip up there.
I'm going tuesday to the junkyard to get the same engine with 30k on the clock but with everything. manifolds, accessories, belts, etc. The zero mile engine is just an engine and thats it. I do have to swap the lower engine cradles with the one from the delorean block so it will mount in my delorean. I'll post pics and junk when I do this thing. |

I thought the Eagle had a Mitsu engine... Does it bolt up? How are you going to control the EFI?

well someone has snagged it before I did but thats ok
the premier had either an I4 or V6.. the I4 was probably the mitsu engine. to control squirt and spark.. easy Megasquirt with Ford EDIS6 The eagle premier V6 is the same PRV used by the delorean only difference is its a 3.0 with EFI and 10 years of improvements It bolts up to the tranny the delorean uses and flywheel. Only thing I have to do is swap the lower engine cradles so it will bolt to the deloreans engine mounts. I have said cradle and oil pan already so I'm good to go.The rest is programing megasquirt and running wires and figuring out throttle linkages |
