Got a New TV

Alright well on Friday I went to Sears and found out they where having a 48 Month 0% interest on all tv's $1000 up so I had to get one. Well I came out of the store will a 46 inch Sharp Aquos. Right now i am watching a Blueray and I am so impressed. I think they still have the sale thing so if anyone wants a tv hit up sears.

Nice TV. I have the Aquos 32" mounted in my room at home. Good picture, good image processor.

Is it a financing deal or an actual discount? I can't imagine financing a TV, but I suppose you can't go wrong if its actually 0% interest with no tricks.

I really need something better for my bedroom.

yah Tyler, no interest and no payments for 48 months. I plan on paying it off in like 4 months but still what a nice deal.

Nice job! The Aquos are a great series of TV's, we have a few at work. I wanted to buy one a while back but at the time they were just too expensive so I ended up with a Sony Bravia.

I am debating on getting a new TV, I like the looks of the Sharp's, nice picture, and tend to be less than the Samsung's and LGs'. I have noticed that the Westinghouse and some of the other bargin TV's have nice pictures as well.

A little advice form a newbie, pay the balance off in 47 months or less, because on the last month or 2 they will act like your payment was late and charge you all the back interest. Thats what they count on.

You need to read the fine print. In most instances if there is a balance left after the 0% period expires they slap on a retroactive 20%-30% for the interest free period. Play the game wisely and pay it off ahead of time.

Why the heck would you finance a TV? Don't take on debt for toys, only investments.
