2003 GMC Yukon help
Bought it new and after 5 years (75K) I feel it's time to flush and renew the cooling system. It's been treated well it's whole life and I only use synthetic fluids throughout. Most of the miles are highway. My questions are these:
Do I need to do this at all if the coolant in the puke tank looks good? Do I go back with DexCool or Universal or something else? Does the over-the-counter flush solution do the trick or is there a better option? Any suggestions are welcome. Never did this on a (relatively) new vehicle. TIA, Chuck.

you'll want to use the dexcool. if any of the old stuff is left behind it will make a hell of a mess with regular green coolant. Have a good look at the intake manifold gaskets and see if they are leaking. GM has a real problem in that area and could cause coolant to leak into the crankcase and destroy the bottom end.

X2 on using only Dexcool. When I did the Suburban two years ago, I did the soap/citric acid flush before refilling it with Dex. At 75K you should still be OK as Dex is supposed to last 100,000 miles.
