Kill-a-watt
Anyone try a Kill-a-watt yet? They look neat, and I am thinking it would be fun to mess around with one. Even though I do live in the area with the cheapest power rates in the US, at $.0185/KWH, I still think would be fun to mess around with one. Plus it will help me calculate, if/when I move to Seattle...

I find mine useful. Its nice to know how much power something uses when its "off".

Mine does everything it said it could do, and it has been useful. I used it to track my old refrigerator over 1 week, and compared it to the new 'fridge. What a difference! :D

Agree, an interesting device.
Does what it says well, don't know exactly what I can do with the info BUT !!!! |
It's good for things that are not easy to tell if they are working, such as a block heater on a car. Plug the block heater into it and you can see whether it is drawing power or not.

They won't let me near electrical things.
