Very interesting range of reactions. I can see both sides. I would enjoy seeing it in person to better evaluate my opinion.

Why,oh why do designers have to encase their cars in bloated,meretricious coffins?
Why not get back to the basics. The true definition of a sportscar is one built for the pure pleasure of driving,but then I may be a tad jaded driving the most basic and elemental of sportscars. I'm sure,regardless,they will sell many.

 Classy and refined I am not.  Not that I would mind taking the McLaren for a spin!

Shoot, I think it's a nice looking ride. Not as much form-follows-function as a Ferrari, but who in their right mind would race it?
