2010 Mercedes E-Class 2DR Coupe

Not Much Camo Cover, So It's Probably a Near Production Model

Now the speculation about what AMG might do with it.

I don't like it. Looks like a Dodge from the front and kind of Japanese from the rear. But then again, I don't like most new things when they come out. Maybe it'll grow on me eventually.

Nice, looks like it has a glass roof.

An AMG version would be amazing, maybe they will put a blower or turbo on the 6.3 V8 to give the coupe a bit more punch than the sedan.

That's rather sad. Looks like a big C-class. I like the current E-class, its one of the prettiest sedans on the road IMO. Makes up for the horrible looking W210s.

As an owner of one I couldn't agree with this more. I had a New C loaner. It is a good car and a more pratical choice for me. But I LOVE my E class. I contend that it is one of the most beautiful sedans ever made inside and out.

Half the people never like the new models.

I don't like it either.

If I was looking for a mide range coupe I would probably get an A5:

I see a black S5 all the time, OMFG its everything a German car should be.

I guess this means MB is getting rid of the CLK coupe?

It's an unfortunate trend in car design these days to have overly large grills. The w211 and 220 are some of the last Mercedes to retain a "slick" look before taking a turn now towards the "blocky/funky" look. Audi is also particularly guilty of this on their cars starting around 2003. Even their R8 supercar has a bigass grill on it.

I'd paint that center trim part of the grill on the Audi body color, that would cut the grill size in half.

There are new safety standards in Europe designed to protect pedestrians in the event they are hit by cars. This involves making the hood area a little higher and with crumple zones to absorb some of the impact - at least that's why the local MB guys say the grills have gotten higher.
