Yeah, the bounding, floating suspension is pretty funny. I also like how they "forgot" to get rid of the column shifter. When I first saw that movie, I thought that was the baddest car ever.

Funny! The chrome colored column shifter is visible when Reynolds is getting in car, then, he slams the Hurst shifter in to reverse......no column shifter present. The interior shot of the steering wheel doesn't match the shot of the windshield view either. Also, why no posi-traction on this car......doh!
