Anyone driven or have a Chrysler 300C..??

I am looking at a 300C with AWD. I was in search of an Audi A8 but the 300C may be more cost effective.

Driven one. They are OK to drive, but the power from that hemi is pretty good.

Someone here also just bought one.

My brother bought one (new) for his wife. A month later she clipped a curb, tore off the rocker moulding and trashed a rim. A few months later she totalled it on I-45 outside of Houston. She liked it so much he bought her another one.

I drove one and it drives nice but I think it looks ugly. The interior layout is interesting.

I have driven a 300C. I hated it. It has horrible bumpers, poor visibility and mediocre handling. And they didn't do so well in the IIHS side crash test. Your best bet would be to go with a used Audi A8; you can pick up a nice one for around $23,000.

$23k is a little over my budget. I was thinking around $15k. I think right now it is a little easier to find an A8 rather than a 300C with AWD.

I had a magnum awd. I liked it in some ways but the very heavy wheels made for a crappy bouncy ride, and it used a lot of fuel. It had the three point five motor and I could never top twenty mpg highway.

It went well in snow.

Its also a very very big and heavy, disguisd by the fact of the very tall wheels.

I drove one while my 300E was being repaired following an accident (insurance paid the rental). While I initially liked the look of it, I quickly grew to dislike it intensely and missed my Benz. Reasons -

- horrid gas mileage for a V6
- handling is mediocre at best
- high door panels create nice aesthetics, but in reality conjure up too many blind spots for my liking (and I'm on the taller side, 6'1")
- found the inside controls a bit chincy/plasticky

It had decent power and acceleration, but the combination of bad mileage (without the corresponding power you would expect), dodgy handling and blind spots galore had me wishing my Benz was finished its repairs.

I don't own one but I have rented them on several occasions. It seemed like a pretty solid car. Since it was a rental it did not have the Hemi engine and the extra horsepower would have been nice. My only complaint was the outward vision. The whole car is on big blind spot.

I sat in one at the auto show, that was enough for me.
