Do you still have your Christmas tree and decorations up?

Do you still have your Christmas tree and decorations up? I am thinking about taking mine down this weekend, but I like the way it looks and I like the lack of effort it takes to keep it up.

It always makes me a little sad to see it go. It'll just sit there until the kids take it down. They're making progress but it's at a snail's pace . . . .

Ours came down on 01/01. Needed room for the Pack-n-Play.

Cool. Both mine are old enough that they're asking me to leave the tree up. (1.5 and 3 years old)

I now have it down to a science. I have a small 4' tree that goes in the bay window. it's pre-lit and the limbs are hinged. We don't even bother with decorations. I can unplug it and have it in the box in under 30 seconds!

That is awesome! I have a fake tree, but I have to take all the limbs off one by one.

Sadly the tree came down on Sunday. It's always a bummer for me. Usually we keep it up until my birthday but my 6yo kept snacking on the branches so the Mrs. gave the command.

I answered "No" but we still keep all of the non-Christmas decorations up/out (the wife's snowman collection on the mantle and some other knick knacks around the house) and the outdoor lights will be there until springtime, flagpole-tree included. I'll light 'em up whenever it snows because I likes 'em.

We take ours down after Jan 06, it is also fake and comes in two parts.

After the ornaments and lights are taken off I just fold the branches towards the "trunk" and I'm done. I have tried to convince the wife to leave the ornaments and lights on it but she doesn't like the idea.

It just doesn't feel like Christmas until I kill a tree.

ours also don't come down until after the 6th. Three trees this year. Two plastic and one (recently) live one. First live one since 1976! (First year with a hardwood floor since 1976)

You know the scene in "the Grinch" where he's stealing all the stuff and he takes the tree and pops it like an umbrella? Well, that's how this one does only the limbs fold upward. I just drop in into the box!

Took them down new years day.

We have a 7 or 8 foot tall fake tree. You flip it up side down, and the branches collapse.

My house goes all out for xmas. Lights everywhere, inflatable lawn ornaments, snowflakes, you name it....

Same inside. Ribbon everywhere, lights everywhere, etc.

I bet you could see my house from the sky.
