The Music of Video Games
A youtube link worth checking out (430+ videos loaded so far, happy searching!)
http://www.youtube.com/user/garudoh Here are few of my picks that I remember from days gone by. Spy Hunter-Never could beat it, and technically, it only had one song "Peter Gunn Theme" or something like that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnPwB-KGXQY Mega Race-Doubt if anyone ever heard of this one. It came with my first Packard Bell (1994, .79 GB HD ) Very cool game for the time though, had a lot of cool live action intro videos (Scene in the youtube link) And listening to it again, a decent sound track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKnSwzX8J_4 Killer Instinct-I didn't particuraly like it but it was graphically ahead of its time (Arcade details in a SNES cartridge was unheard of then) My brother won an SNES from local radio station and this came with it. It was a "Special Edition" of somesort so I still actually have the soundtrack on disc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IznaNRms5U U.N Squadron-My all time favorite SNES game. Still have it, still play it and now I have the Area 88 anime which originally inspired the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtJlan6Z3i4 And as far as pure smiles from music.......Lemmings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otkcaBaJ7jc
