The Delorean is sold

Yep, DMC Europe just met my asking price of $6k for that pile of crap.

They are going to wire money to my bank account this week and pay all wire fees.

next up is sell the 300D and go find a nice TE and sit on my awesome profit

I made like.. 300% profit!

Wow....nice!

You'll find that a 300TE is about 500% more needy and expensive to own than a W123 300D though.

Perhaps a W123 300TD would be better?

I don't want a whale...

I've wanted a wagon since I got my 300D and driving that thing for like 4 years now I'm getting tired of getting passed by an empty school bus and the mediocre handling.

me want 300TE mit sportline suspension

there are like 5 or 6 for sale in fl right now. I found a dark grey one in the orlando area. Grey interior, third row, 1995 model year so it has the updated front end.

Its going to take like 3-5 days for the international money transfer so I've got time lol.. then I need to sell the diesel. I'll probably use the money from that for a sportline kit, wheels, and fuel lol.

note to self.. premium, not diesel.

HA!!

I've been thinking about buying an MB gasser too ... especially over the past couple days. It got so cold that neither of my 123s would start. I just switched to 5w40 synth in both today and they're starting fine again.

It would be nice to have a 123 or 124 gasser for those extra cold days.

Yeah, but Joe, where is that Flux capacitor going to go now? You were living my dream of having a DMC. I was gong to send you Huey Lewis tapes when you got her on the road

lol.. got it already. My dad had it and sent it to me. the craig head unit was cool but sucked in terms of quality.

I'll keep the flux capacitor for the next one. I'll buy one when I have a career not a job.

It would be cheaper to buy a ferrari than restore that DMC
