The Visitor (2007)
 
I saw the movie a couple nights ago and recommend it as a serious drama. No machineguns, but even so, a good flick. It does a fine job of dramatizing an intransigent problem of our society.

Let me guess. He's here on a student visa and falls for some locat twit but the feds won't grant him a change of status and evenually he get's deported? How close am I?
