Superbowl Party at Powerpig's Pigpen!

Hey! For those of you in the area, I'm having a Superbowl Party at the house. There will be a 60" Plasma, 50" Plasma and if I have time, I'll setup a HD Projector with a 100" screen.. There will be plenty of food, just bring your favorite drink.

If the weather's good, I'll be giving rides in the Ferrari and Maserati for a donation to the Powerpig needs a new (insert exotic car here) fund. :D

Please RSVP so I can get a head count for the food and give you the address. Thanks and see you at the pig pen!

Sunday, February the 1st.

I was thinking this morning that last January seems like it was about two months ago. I've become totally discombobulated as far as time goes . . .

Jim B. 01-23-2009 10:01 AM

Is there plenty of off street parking?

j/k j/k j/k :D

That's not a bad idea. I do a lot of traveling for my job and could put some regional meets together. Here's a sample:

Biloxi, MS Mid March

Mystic, CT Mid June

Springfield, MO Mid August

Long Beach, CA Mid December

This is just a sample, but I'm usually in these areas a week at a time. That said, let's do something on the MS Coast in March. As usual, I'll be driving the Grease Car down with the spousal unit. We did something there a couple of years ago and had a decent turn out.

You guys kick it around and let's see what we can come up with!

Dee8go 02-02-2009 07:29 AM

Thanks to Mr & Mrs Powerpig for having another terrific Super Bowl party. We had a great time, ate too much, drank too much, and really enjoyed seeing everybody again. You guys are great hosts!

Mistress 02-02-2009 09:51 AM

Excellent parrtteeeaahhhhhhhhhhh! Great food, fun, adult beverages and not one but two giant screen HDTV's with kick butt surround sound. It was great seeing everyone again and remember- as yogi once said "It ain't ove til it's over." Ready to leave two minutes on the clock thinking the Card's won as I put on my coat I had to sit back down and finish the game.....the agony of defeat.....Kevin thanks again to you and Donna for being such great hosts.

powerpig 02-02-2009 10:46 AM

We really enjoyed having you guys over. It's a shame Johnhef passed out by halftime. Stay tuned for another GTG in March.

Dee8go 02-02-2009 11:49 AM

Leg cramps?

dynalow 02-02-2009 12:07 PM

No pics????:(

powerpig 02-02-2009 01:25 PM

Oh yeah, Mistress gave us a cool leg lamp like the one in Christmas Story. Sorry, no pics. The last time we took some, they ended up hanging in the Post Office.

Dee8go 02-02-2009 01:32 PM

I brought my camera, but left it in the car. Everybody passed Powerpig's new Nikon around and oooed and ahed over it, but nobody thought to actually TAKE a picture . . .

The Swede 02-02-2009 06:31 PM

Did the barbee catch on fire? :D:eek:

Hatterasguy 02-02-2009 07:08 PM

Nah, he passed out early. I guess I should wake him up soon. :P

DieselGuy53 02-02-2009 08:19 PM

The mighty Johnhef passed out? Hard for me to believe...

The Clk Man 02-02-2009 08:37 PM

Pics Please. :D

Johnhef 02-03-2009 07:18 AM

You all are lame.

Chad300tdt 02-03-2009 08:25 AM

Sounds like you all had a great time.

I should have come, but I don't follow sports and end up taking a "You don't watch sports?" beat down at parties like this.:o:D I can only handle about 5 minutes of watching any sport before I need to do something else.

I know how the game is played, I just don't know the players' names and stats.
However, I do know all the names of MOST of the characters on all the kiddie programs.:D:D

Dee8go 02-03-2009 08:32 AM

Powerpig wore him out with all the pre-game auto repairs . . . .

Me either. I just have a great time seeing everybody. Of course, Kevin's huge TVs and terrific surround sound system make it a lot more fun to watch.
