True dat...

Jeesh, it is stoopid. He shoulda mixed the water with Tide and Snuggle softener. Tide as the detergent and Snuggle to keep the metal soft so it wouldn't get ruined. Probably help with that old oil smell too. Some people just can't think for themselves!

This is like the thread about feeding the exhaust directly back into the intake manifold to pressurize it - thereby negating the need for a turbo. Google Direct Exhaust Injection.

Troll.

I have been paging through the Mustang site posts and having a good laugh since last night. The only thing better would be somebody doing a citric acid flush on their crankcase... Come on somebody, fill up their engine with citric acid and Tide...

Wow ... there are times when I feel like I don't know anything about cars, but next to that guy, I'm a freaking genius. Has to be a joke ... I do believe someone could be that stupid, but I don't believe he would announce his stupidity on a public forum, and then "not get" what he did wrong. I'd have to think anyone that stupid would not be capable of using a computer.

Pretty funny read, though ...

Why not a case of Diet Coke and two tubes of Mentos tabs? All that foaming action could also help you locate any hidden crankcase leaks too!!! :D

The one thing you DON'T want to do is put Pop Rocks and Coke in your engine. That will make it explode ... right? Mentos are probably fine ... freshmake your engine!

I still think trying to convert a car from right hand drive to left hand drive is so much funnier. :D

I bet it's the same guy.

Obviously you don't have the free time required to peruse every other car forum on the intertubes. You may want to think about quitting your job so you can concentrate on what's important.

Hatterasguy 01-26-2009 08:36 PM

Well this one is probably fake, but there was a guy on another MB forum that blew up his Euro 500SEL by running kerosene in the crankcase after each oil change.:D:rolleyes:
