Stir-fryed barbecue chicken and shrimp on my part. My buddy's bringing over a ham 'cause he's too lazy to cook. The neighbors are bringing tamales, the sis-in-laws bringing biscuits and gravy, the niece and her BF are bringing thinly sliced Kobe beef in a red sauce, the wife's making pies and my sons will probably just be bringing their appetites and beer.

Of course chips, salsa, veggie trays, roasted chiles and the usual hot vegetable mix.

Damn, that just made me hungry!

I tend to graze during the game rather than loading up on something. Mostly an assortment of wings, both dry rub and sauces. Chips with homemade salsa and guacamole. Homemade jalapeno poppers, some mini pizzas for the kids. Haven't had sloppy joes in awhile, might have to whip some up. Nothing fancy. If we were home I'd fire up the smoker and do some ribs but the rental situation isn't really conducive to it.

Might have my brother and his family over or go over there. When I have a rooting interest in the game I just want to sit and watch and not have the distractions from the commercial fans. Also, I don't have to watch my mouth as much in a smaller circle.

True, though the 848 is in for service right now though, and may not be back until next week.

Yeah, but then if you're not home again by the time the game ends, the roads are filled with testosterone fueled drunks...

Planning for his Super bowl party, Joe Mac went to a party store to get some decorations. "They had Mylar balloons with the team logos, but the Patriots balloons were only slightly inflated".

Never watch a SuperBowl game in your whole life is on my bucket list. It won't be crossed off till I cross over but so far I'm doing great.
