I can't find the hardware and software requirements. Is this listed there, or do you know?

I don't know. I downloaded for my Mac at home (OS X 10.4.11; 2.2 GHz Core Duo, 1 Gig SD RAM). The display gives hiccups if I move faster than the graphics processor can render (I think that's what is going on). But the submarine feature is freaking wonderful. I love exploring the deep sea canyons. I'm headed from the Gult to the Marianas. BTW, did you know you can see the H-Bomb crater on Bikini Atoll?

I downloaded google earth updater after googling "google earth 5.0" and it gives me an error. I've seen the crater in person and it's nuts.

Yeah this street maps stuff has to stop or they should at least edit cars/people out of the photos. I think they managed to get a shot of me leaving my street on lunch break.

I am not going to mess with it, since I am finding it harder to find software that supports the older PowerPC Macs

Just watch old videos of Steve Jobs proclaiming the PowerPC CPUs superior to Intel....because Apple would never ever use the same CPU as a PC..... heh heh heh. Apple had to eat their words. That was a glorious day in PC land.

Now a Mac is just an overpriced PC in a shiny case with a hyped up bubbly version of linux.

I thought OS X Bloodthirsty Leopard....or whatever version it is now () had some slow inefficient "emulator" in it to run cross-platform software.
