Indeed, I was going to compare the new z4 to a bottom feeding carplike fish mouth!

Ugh! BMWs before bangle were classy looking timeless designs, after him they took the styling crease school of thought previously occupied only by the (UGH) Mercury small front driver (was it called the Cougar?).

(Shudder!).

While some of the new 7 series are nice looking, a gray, salt laden filty new 7 series with 19" whells is definately one of the uglier things I've seen on the road. Blech.

I think the likes of MB and BMW should really think about the future..I mean, we are all driving old MBs that still look good, inside and out. Sure, it might be conservative, but it lasts!

You must not have a "palomino" interior that looks pinks now

Yep, they peaked with that body style, and interior too. The electronic's are not so overwhelming as to feel like your driving an Xbox.

Here is a proper modern BMW, an M5 with a proper manual and understated appearance.

The SLK can't hold a candle to that car in the looks department.
My aunt bought one of those, there not that nice. They ride like crap, and the looks don't do anything for me. Her's rides stiffer/worse than a 911 Cab!

I drove one of those in Coupe form.... Its that much more agressive than the standard Z4.

So wo designed this BMW, Bangle?
I always thought it was one of the nicest looking BMWs. Except for maybe the 1989 M6.

BMW will do fine: this Adrian van Hooydonk van is Dutch guy
Dutch design has gained quite some recognition in recent years.
Still, for some reason, I think all this 'design' hoopla is way too much overrated.

That's Henrik Fisker's design, also responsible for the DB9 and the Vantage.

You are right! It is a little dirty though. I can see the side of the lower seat cushions turning pink in the next few years...I'll dye / paint it before it comes to that, though!
