Thoughts on Samsung Omnia w/ Verizon

Alright, I think I'm gonna trade up my old featureless phone and go all out. I'm gonna go out of my way here and assume people on Mercedesshop have opinions so, any opinions on Touchscreen Smartphones?

Can't believe it. No opinions on the most opinionated board I've ever been on.

I've got a Samsung Instinct. It is with Sprint/Nextel. I like it. I don't use all the features. I did use many of them when I first got the phone. The internet is better than my last phone but not as easy to use as an Iphone. If I had it to do over again I would strongly consider switching to ATT to get an Iphone.

Here is a thread discussing the Instinct-
Samsung Instinct?

You are not getting many opinions because most 1980s Mercedes owners are cheap bastards (like myself ) and don't spend money on new phones. I would guess the average weight of the cell phone of a mercedesshop member is 2.1 lbs and the average age of the phone is 5.2 years old.

I usually don't make fun of spelling errors since I make many myself, but it is kind of hard since all the keys are right in a row?

Blackberry.

Although when it comes to touchscreens, there is no substitute to the iPhone.

I just broke my phone on Monday, so I was going to try and get a new smart phone, but Verizon told me that I would have to pay full retail for one, but I did get my old one replace free under warranty. As for the smart phones, the Blackberry's seem to be the ones to go with, according to my buddy at Verizon.

ROFL! That was funny!

I sprung for one. We'll see how I go from a normal phone touchpad to a qwerty touchpad.

The phone that I opted for, was the Casio G'z One (or something like that).
Main reasons: water resistant, shock resistant.
It's not that I fall down alot, or jump into a pool with my clothes very often. I do on occasion go underground, into some wet situations.
I suppose that if I lived in Seattle, and didn't own an umbrella, it would come in handy there as well.
