Ok Chad. First the Mullet thread. Now this.

What's going on? Are you planning an extreme self make-over and trolling for opinions?

Personally, that looks itchy as all get out.

As for the mullets: Put me down for a “Yuck”.

Ha!! I've just been interested in people's reactions to things that are out of the norm lately.:D

Imagine a mullet with a neck beard. That would be awesome!!:D:D

Well, in that case I’d say you’ve pretty much got it covered. Carry on. ;)

Awesome for someone working at a used book store or a smoke shop perhaps. Not too awesome in my line of work.

If you go there. Don't forget to post some "in progress" pics. :D

That neck beard is nasty looking - I'm fine for a scraggly beard, but that's just plain sick looking.

LOL. But sorry, I'll have to pass on that one.

We do quite a bit of traveling around the world. More often than not, to rather secluded places. We love visiting small tropical islands in particular. Though some may have a hint of a tourist industry in the works, we’ve found it better to avoid it if we really want to see and learn what the place has to offer.

You can pay some high-priced “Island Appointed/Certified Guide” to give you the tour that everyone else gets. Or, you can find some guy like this that knows the island better than anyone. Quite often, $50.00 will get you to the sights that few tourists get to see.

Truk (Chuuk, Micronesia) is a perfect example. In Chuuk, we found some kid (about 12 years old) that took us to see gun emplacements, tunnels and other Japanese outposts located far up into the mountains that the casual tourists/divers miss. This was pretty obvious by the fact that there were still signs of occupancy when we visited them some 50 years after the war. Military helmets, vehicles, rotted goggles, various shell casings, etc. still lay about. Left alone out of respect we were told. I’d bet they are still in some of those areas today.

Anytime anyone contacts us regarding what they can do when they visit most of the regions we’ve been to. We tell them to hunt down a guy that looks like these guys and hook up with them for the tour.

Ever see the movie Captain Ron? There's a lot to be said for that flic.

OK. Now back to the funny hair.....
