Not unexpected, but sorrowful all the same.....

John passed away this evening. If anyone is interested in getting a glimpse at the breadth of affection this kind and wonderful gentle man shared with his family, friends, everyone he met - read through a page or two of the comments on John's Caring Bridge site.

It's always sad when someone like this passes. Even though the rest of us may not have known him, he did the one thing I think many people want to do: he made a difference in his community or at least among his customers.

In doing that, he made life a little better for those who knew him and appreciated his work. Those he leaves behind are better for knowing him or seeing what he did on earth.

Comments and reactions like the ones above are a better testimony to someone than all the money they leave behind, they can't spend it, does them no good.
