Riiiiiiiight.
If you flip that around, I bet it would be very beneficial for you.

That is the more likely scenario anyway. Plus I'm getting her a gift cert. for a massage/spa session.

After 4 kids, the uninterrupted benefits are sporadic at best and often leave me thinking "OMG what if that was the 1% of the time???"

My boyfriend bought me 12 beautiful long stem red roses last night so VD Day came early for me. I'll have to think of something creative for Saturday......

The PLAN is for the wife and I to have slices of cherry covered cheesecake, a leisurely soak in the hot tub, a small glass of champagne with chocolate coated strawberries, a buzz out to the airport at 9:30PM to pick up my mom for a 8 week visit, finish off the champagne and then maybe a bit of a cuddle.

Sounds good but the way things usually go is, a luke-warm beer slammed down while trying to clean the mess the dogs decide to make in the guest room, two stale Ritz crackers the aforementioned dogs missed in the room, sweep the room again to get all the grass they drug in to make a nest, a 30 second shower, a 45 minute drive to the airport stopping to get gas at the only station where all the pumps except one are broken, flying through the parking lot to get a spot where I can actually catch a glimpse of the terminal, a 3 minute sprint to get to the terminal to find out her plane is delayed, an hour wait in the bar drinking an $8 domestic bottled beer and then a trip back home to have hallway sex.

Sigh, ain't love grand!

Make a romantic mix tape/CD for your wife so you guys can have some good tunes for the airport run. At least you can enjoy that time together if everything else fails.

Mix tape? CD? What are you, 40? It's all about the complilations on the iPod/MP3 player, old man.

Wow, Swamp, that's pretty harsh.

What's an ipod/MP3 anyway?

I bought a new car last year and it doesn't even have one

Chad's not too far behind me and I'm precariously close!

They do sell adapters and stuff.

I'm embarrassed to admit that when I typed that, I forgot we had such technology. I guess I am an old man.

At least I didn't say to get out the mic and make an 8-track.

So ... Mike D ... as I was saying, make a romantic playlist for your MP3 player.

I took my honey lingerie shopping last weekend so she'd have something to wrap MY Valentine's Day present in . . . .
