definitley true, I really like the look of the W126 and C126. Thats why I cant seem to get rid of mine.

I'll take a semi-trailing arm (STR) rear and recirculating ball steering (RBS) unit over multilink with rack and pinion speed assist steering any day compared to other cars in the Mercedes lineup:
I like my car at 120 mph to be rock solid and in control (RBS), and I like to be notified when I reach the limits of handling (STR). Much more fun and communicative, imho. The newest models just feel dead.
