17 SEC. 1109. PROHIBITED USES.
18 None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made
19 available in this Act may be used for any casino or other
20 gambling establishment, aquarium, zoo, golf course, or
21 swimming pool.
If they are actually specifying golf course or swimming pool, I can only imagine that at some point some rep tried to get a new golf course or swimming pool into the bill................

Title III Subsection A Commerce..... page 44 of the pdf file I opened...just a few hundred million here and there,....to point out a few that just happened to catch the eye scrolling thru this BS.
Total waste of money. Note: some of this money runs out in '10 or '11. So, once the staff is in place, (assuming people are hired with this money) what then pray tell? Permanent appropriation? Job elimination? (Riiight!)

WE'll fing out in a couple of years how much of this bill sticks around and becomes permamnent cost of government. My guess, oh, 20-25% (150 bill). Hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.

I'm a socialist. Newsweek told me so.

Zoo to!

But, but Obama who was supposed to save this country from the evil Bush said again and again with his silver tounge how he was going to stop government waste...but yet this bill is from what I can see 90%-95% waste...even a monkey with a penncil could probably do better.

As Clinton once said, I guess it depends on how you define "change".
