Looking for a geolocator
Must weigh 5 grams or under.
When I Google for vendors all I get are folks selling web-based geolocators for point of origin sales. I'm after a small backpack device, not a software solution to sales. Post links if you have a source. |

I'm pretty good at knowing where the world is, but I weight a lot more than 5 grams.
What exactly are you looking for?

The 5 gram thing is the hurdle. I know where to get fist-sized GPS and I sure don't need RTK accuracy no matter the size.

These may be completely unsuitable for your application, but..
have you read about these light-based devices that they've been using to track bird migrations? |

Check this one out, 5 grams though? batteries alone would hit that.
