I don't believe you, because that is just too good to be true.

This past Saturday when it was snowing and cold my wife stayed outside with me to keep me company while I was fixing the car. Now that is love!

Not a thing. She hardly ever pops in over here, so there wasn't even any ulterior motive

Not to brag, but Darling Wife checks the oil while I pump gas, helps pick out the best beater cars (then turns 'em into art cars with friends at the first opportunity), happily rode 800 miles in a miata with our knapsack under her feet and a giant piņata on her lap (trunk lock broke one morning during one of our cross country runs), and helps me troubleshoot & fix our fleet of cheap but occasionally needy cars.

Yeah, well, ok maybe that was bragging. Well deserved after last night - chaos that has been our 7 day a week grind for the last couple months got a much needed break when I came home to find her in leather leggings and a hot pink fringed mini-skirt. "We need a night off" says she, so we made a quick run through Lowes to pick up some potting soil, then off to the local pub.

4 glorious hours of food, beverage, conversation, and making new friends (our first trip to this place) later, batteries are fully recharged and we've got leads on a good local MB mechanic, a Miata wizard, and 3 contractors.

Congratulations to you!!

My fiance is an angel as well...she even talked me into buying the 560sl. She never drives it, but loves the looks we get when she's riding in it! She's too afraid of hurting the car to drive it.

Ditto for the incredible wifey statement!!

Mine puts up with my acqusition of music gear and is sympathetic of my car repair woes, yet still rides to work with me in my almost-200K mile W124.

Did I mention the air compressor she purchased for me on our 10th wedding anniversary?

My girlfriend wouldn't go that far, but she would go to the junkyard with me if it was a nice day . . . . plus, she's a real hottie!

She also participates in this forum . . . .

Yeah, but you normally keep John's TV company if we're working on your car inthe driveway and it's cold . . . .
