LOVE IT!

I was told to take down the "Demons of Stupidity" one. If the government can't have DoS, then there would be no employees!

On a serious note, I wonder how many of these Blovinating A** holes took the GM or Citi Corporate jets to Aruba for "fact finding" missions over the past couple years...

Did you hear that Cessna and Beechcraft are going to ask for a bailout so they can keep building corporate jets?

R Leo 02-25-2009 05:37 PM

Spot on.

I once worked at a craphole that prohibited Dilbert cartoons. I left.

Yeah I read about one guy out west who was fired but later received compensation because he posted a strip. I have "The Dilbert Principle" its essential reading for anyone who works any job, anywhere:)

Sure why not, my company can use some money too, lets all jump on the bailout bandwagon......

Put a Kennedy accent on the poltician and it's even better.:D

SwampYankee 02-26-2009 07:49 AM

OTOH I wish I had some illustrating ability. I'd love to do a strip from the employers point of view, there's no shortage of "interesting" employee stories.

SwampYankee 02-26-2009 07:53 AM

This is the strip on my monitor. It speaks to me on many levels. :D

Its odd, some weeks we have coffee brewed every day (For the back areas at least) Then sometimes no one wants any so we just boil hot water for tea...its an odd cycle.

Here's the one that became my all time favorite. I had posted in my office and later found out that someone actually got fired for having the same one:cool:

When the cartoonist who did "Calvin & Hobbes" was retiring, the local fishwrap decided to have a contest to see what cartoon would replace C&H...out of the five they had in the poll, Dilbert seemed destined to place 6th...and the damn thing won!

I remember thinking "How lame can you be and still get paid to draw?"

Now, it's the only thing that I'd waste money on buying off the rack...some papers have gone so far as to put Dilbert on the Opinion Page along side of Doonsebury and Non-sequitor...

BTW, I still won't buy our local fishwrap...only if it's free or the paper is from Mpls/St.Paul...there's a paper worth the money...and it has about 4 x's the news compared to what we have spooned to us...

Hatterasguy 02-27-2009 03:53 PM

Number 2 is my favorite!:D

Our local bird cage liner, the Hartfod Courant, resorted to putting it in their business section in a desperate attempt to get readers to go there (and read the latest AP wire stories).
