What difference would it make? You are not allowed to smoke anywhere in California anyway. You'd still have to sneak around to smoke it.

The "marijuana industry"? Where do these politicos come from? Who will do the regulating and taxation duties? Raid the processing plants for illegals?

$50 an ounce TAX? Will they add a dye to the boo to determine if you are smoking the "legal" chit? Will that same dye cause cancer in California rats if they smoke 200 lbs per year (those California rats must be the wimpiest rats ever! They must also be the hungriest 'cause they eat almost anything, hairspray, paint chemicals, pesticides, etc).

"Feel good" politics at it's best.

If you buy the "tea" in Cali, pay their tax and you carry across the state line are you liable for the other state's tax?

'course it would add a whole new meaning to Walmart's "rolling back the prices" slogan!

I used to be against it, but now my wife's medical issues and pain have gotten bad enough where we discuss her getting some just to see if it'd help. Problem is, neither of us smoke.

Would you still get the pain control benefit from ingesting it instead of inhaling it? I know it is very cliche, but perhaps pot brownies (or something else that it is baked into) could provide you the benefit you seek without having to smoke it.

I don't see why taxing weed would be more
difficult than taxing alcohol and tobacco.

A few puffers a day probably wouldn't hurt. IMO, taking strong prescription
drugs poses much more danger than smoking a few joints a day. Not to mention the stress relief benefits of smoking some pot, priceless.

Sounds like a plan...let's all become pot head burn-outs that say "Dude" in every sentence while we are taxed to death, on welfare, living in a Socialist country, and homeless.

Thanks, but NO THANKS!!!!

90% of numbers in all polls are made up...and the other 15% are fabricated.

They might have had me believing if they said somewhere around 50%, but there is absolutely no way a correctly done poll would give 95% of the population in favor of legalized marijuana.

If you legalise all drugs then what will the thrill-seeking,oblivion-crazed multitude do for jollies?

It would lose it's forbidden cachet.......and God knows, only those experienced in self destruction really enjoy their liquor.

Look at the source of the original post, then the source of the poll...do the math and see what you get.

And just who do you think had time in the middle of the day and was bored enough to actually answer a CNN poll?

"Dude man, Dr. Phil hung up on me yesterday, who can we call and talk to today"?
