2009 New England Storm

Anyone else in the area have work/school canceled?

This was my first day off in a very long time and all I have to say is...I did nothing, I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be

I am not in that area, but yesterday, I did not get out of bed all day, well, I did get out to help with lunch, but then right back into bed and ate there. Did nothing but snuggle, nap and watch TV all day........ And it is ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!!!

Thankfully we're almost always open, if for no other reason than my brother lives the furthest away at a mile. My kids would run me ragged!

Plenty of our employees called in today which was fine, they always have that option if it's real bad weatherwise.

Actually after 12 hours of pushing snow on top of a full day of work a day with my kids doesn't sound so bad!

Cripes, they close down if there's 3" here. Not the heartiest folks in southern N.E. Or maybe it's the most litigious.

School was canceled but it didn't really affect me anyway since I think my German professor has the flu.

I was going to work on some boats at Brewers in Stratford today, and start to pull some building permits. But I just didn't feel like fighting the snow so I sat home all day. It was fantastic! I hung my new ceiling fan, vacumed my room, did some HW, and watched a bunch of anime. Oh and I ordered Quickbooks from Amazon, and a keel roller for the boat trailer! Exciting life I live.
