Doctors are getting Pissed!

Seems Doctors don't like it when people leave ratings for them. The last 3 doctors I've seen have thought they were "Gods Gift". I think this is the best thing, doctors need a reality check, they need to know that just because you have been trained to save lives that doesn't mean you are anywhere near God status. http://www.ratemds.com/social/ I took the time to comment on all the doctors that have stood out in my mind. For those of you who know my feelings about the medical industry... you might be surprised to know I only left one negative mark, and 3 positive. People seem to use sites like this to only describe their negative experiences, but I'm currently looking for a Doctor, so knowing where the good ones are is helpful!

Ever see the professor ratings for colleges and universities? Some of the ratings were predictable but some area hilarious.

When you're working double shifts in a job that requires a lot of thinking, you kinda turn into a robot and bedside manner goes out the window; or so I've been told.

There are a lot of good doctors out there, but some of them just let go to their head.
All lines of work have people that think the world cannot live without them. Doctors are just more visible about it. I met an old friend at a class reunion who is a brain surgon. I made a joke about life and death or something like that (I had known this guy since we were 10) and he just sort of blew it off. I could tell, though, that he was not amused. His trophy wife later approached me and told me that he really did think of himself as one step below God. He did try not to let is show, though. All the other Doctors I know are great people that just have a tough job. Hopefully a good rating will make people feel better about going to see them.

Being an a-hole knows no boundaries.
So, that being said, there might as well be a rating service for Doctors, as well as other types of professions. I wouldn't bother with a site that rates politicians though.
