Good help is impossible to find!!!!!!

So tonight we decided to do some shopping. We got carried away and 8:00 rolls around and we did not eat yet. We decided on a Golden Coral. The best on such short notice. We go and wait in line for 5min and the guy ask "What can I get you to drink" I said "a Diet Icetea" He goes "I think you mean unsweetend" I said "ya thats fine" He stands there looking around scratching his head for about a min. and walks away. Leaves me there waiting for my drink. I asked another girl if I could just get my icetea. She goes "Dont you want this one"? And points to the one my wife order. I said "Honey there is 2 people here. I asked for another drink. What is so hard to understand?" She goes "Ok Ill be right back" Walks away and comes back. 5 MIN Later to get a drink and looks around. It was all there made and ready. I reached over and poored it myself and the same kid that walked away starts yelling at me for pooring my own drink. Now I am getting very mad here. I told him "You sure as hell wont do it. I will do it myself. Are you having trouble understanding what I am asking for?" He starts yelling at me and told me to "go screw myself" I took my drink walked away and said "Have fun at your minimum wage job"

Whos wrong here? Its 8 at nite. No customers. All the help is standing around with their head in their rear end. Whats so hard? Get me the drink. All this took more then 5 min. To get 2 drinks. Each drink was prepair al it needed to do was be poored.

Well he did YELL back at a customer so that is grounds for him to be fired right there. I also can't think of a single manager/owner who would be mad at you for pouring your own drink because his employees were too busy smoking out in back of the building....

I hope you speak as clearly as you type. In the North, iced tea is not sweetened, so there's no such thing as diet.

It really was not the point of diet or unsweetend. The point was that it took so long and they stared at me like I was crazy. They where the ones that corrected me as well.

Thats why I avoid such places, the average employee has the IQ of a potato.

I got pissed off at the cashier at Lowes the other day. I'm standing there holding a fan and she is texting on her GD cell phone and talking to a co worker. After two minutes I said loudly can you please ring me out. I said it loudly enough to make sure the circle of senoir managers standing 15ft away heard, I know they did because two looked over.

This is why I love the internet, I don't have to deal with people.

Thats like the supermarket we shop at. There is suppose to a bagger and a cashier person. Half the time there is no bagger bagging.(I use the self check out) They are over in the corner texting or on the phone or talking to someone else. Thats like last sunday I was shopping and the girl bagging was saying how she doesnt make much money here. I understand I told her but when there is like 5 other people sitting around texting or doing everything else but what they are paid to do its kinda hard for the owner to increase pay.

The "diet iced tea" was the kiss of death.

You overloaded the Commodore 64 processor right there and recovering from that crash was impossible.

Next time: "I WOULD LIKE AN UNSWEETENED ICED TEA."

The processor will be close to the limit with such a long sentence, but it won't crash.

Got a better one for you:

How long does it take to call Verizon and drop the caller ID service? Nothing more than that.

Answer..........until it's finally done.........: 19 MINUTES

If I told you the entire story, you wouldn't believe it.

Thats what drives me nuts about such places. Order by the numbers, IE I want a large number 1 with a coke. They can figure that out.

Don't do what my buddy does, I want a number 1 with extra pickles, hold the mayo, and extra mustard. They cannot figure that out, its to much. So as I'm eating he is standing at the counter as a trio of them in the back try to figure it out.

Like I always say your ordering junk food, if you want real food go to a restaurant, and pay $20 for a good burger and beer, they will get the pickle and mustard right.

My daughter needed a replacement birth certificate. So, I go on line and order one form one of those services last Friday. Shipping address must be the CC billing address (uh oh!) So, I figure, maybe they can check this somehow and I comply and use billing (and home) address. Tuesday night arrives and there is a delivery notice from UPS. We tried, will come back tomorrow. Must have an adult signature.

I sign the slip, write a note asking they will deliver it to my office, and leave my card showing name and place of business. I work about 1.4 miles from home and we get uPS deliveries there 2 or 3 times a week. Then I go to work and log on to UPS and request a change of delivery. Good. I figure one of those actions should work to have it delivered to work. 7:30 pm I get a call from UPS. We can't deliver to your office. The shipper has requested it only be delivered to the shipping address. NO changes!
But I'm single and I work! I'm not home during the day.
Well you can pick it up at out local center. Where's that located? ****, which is 30 miles away. No way I'm going up there. I guess I'll have to take the afternoon off and go home and wait for the delivery. Well, call us at this number and we can tell you the approximate time of delivery.

Thursday, I pick up the phone around noon, call, and just as someone answers the phone, our office manager walks into my office with the package? Huh? Seems the regular driver was off and the fill in used to handle the route and saw the package at the center and recognized my name and delivered it to me at work after all. All's well that end's well.

It's a wee bit overkill, imo, to require delivery to only one address, and be signed and hand delivered to the recipient. Gotta be a secure work around for this.

I UPS'd it to daughter in CA and she had it Friday.

Two Cops that thoght they were sneaking up behind me.

(sene one)

Me: Can I help you ?

Cop: Do you have a fire ?

Me: uuughhh, yes I do

Cop: You cannot have a fire in city limits.

Me: Yes I know, but we are not within city limits.

(long pause)

Cop: Its night time and there cannot be any fires except for cooking purposes.

Me: ( raise marshmallow on stick I was holding in my hand )

(long pause)

Cop: Fires must be contained

Me: (point at deep pit with stones encircling it with fire inside)

(shorter pause)

Cop: You must have a way of extinguishing the fire.

Me: (point at water hose 4 feet from my left leg)

Me: ( trying hard to supress laughter because I want to eat my marshmallows not go to jail )

Cop: ( well, be carefull, and try to not have any more people call about fires )

Me: ( whaaa ??? uhhhhh, Yes Sir, will do Sir, thank you)

Me: ( holding laughter untill cop walks back up hill and out of sight. )

Me: ( plop down on the picknick table in my back yard and laugh till I cry a little, then eat my marshmallow, thankfull they did not try to take me to jail because they felt stupid )

(the end)
