The right wing, gun loving, Obama hating world got itself in a lather after a Washington Times pieces attempted to disclose that the administration was attempting to pry handguns from the cold and sometimes barely sober hands of American commerical pilots.

Using minimally named and unnamed sources, the Times announced that the exisiting program to train and arm pilots was being shut down and that airline pilots were being harassed if they spoke up about it.

However, Fox News went to a named source.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the Airlines Pilots Association International -- the world's largest airline pilot union, representing nearly 52,250 pilots in the U.S. and Canada -- said the Times editorial "couldn't be further from the truth."
