HAPPY SPRING!

It's Spring! It's Spring! Hooray Winter is over!

Time to get the collector cars out of hibernation!

Time to get outside and plant some flowers!

Time for women to put away their winter clothes and come out of their cocoons!

I really need to get rototilling! I haven't even decided where I'm putting the garden this year.

My father got his peas in the ground over the weekend, I guess he knew he'd be busy partaking in St. Patty's day festivities so he planted a couple days early.

Thank God the sun has finally come out this morning!

Now, I'll try to get back to work on all those car projects that have been waiting for warmer weather . . . .

So did I. My dad told me about that years ago.

So I proved I can do it on an equinox. I keep forgetting to try it on another day. Who knows, maybe you can balance an egg any day. I'm going to make a note to try it on the summer solstice.

34*F and topless on the way to work this morning. Was mid-high 60's earlier in the week, one more night of freezing predicted in the coming week.

Trees are starting to bud, grass is showing some green, crocuses at home and The Cottage are popping up. Lots of the farm fields I drive past on the way to work have swapped their straw color for green.

Eyes starting itching half an hour back, 15 minutes later sneezing started. Now my nose is running, and my throat is scratchy. Yup, spring has sprung!

It's snowing here in New Jersey. That means it'll probably be 80 degrees tomorrow!
