headed to Japan for business

I will try to spy any older Mercedes, but suspect I won't find any. Headed to Yokosuka to do some work, and am thinking of a trip to Tokyo for the weekend. Anything I should do while I'm there? Mt. Fuji is still closed, so can't do a climb there.

A Japanese business trip, meh; I feel your pain. Don't be tricked into eating anything that is still alive (a fave stunt to inflict on the unwary 外人).

Ugggh, sashimi...

Depending on how much time you have, it would be very cool to take the Shinkansen to Kyoto and visit the shrines. That would probably take a couple days though...

It's sashimi and it's delicious.

steak tartare is actually pretty good and that's western fare.

You'll find W126's there, quite a few (RHD though!)

Oh wait, that "a" makes all the difference! Tastes much better now...

I fixed it...

I was using the term improperly to refer to the serving of live critters...

Tony you ought to love it. The people are awesome and the food is off the hook. The cars are to die for. My wife is way mad I dated japanese women and rightly so...

I don't eat fish, so not sure how well this place is going to set with me. The seaweed and rice wraps arent' too bad, as long as there isn't fish inside. Thanks R. Leo, I'll be on the lookout for the infamous Flesh Salads.. lol

Mt. Fugi is closed? Why?

Come to think of it, what does it actually mean when its open?

Closed for hiking for the season. I think the literature said it's open from June to August or something like that. Said something about snow and high winds. Maybe that's just for guided hikes?
