April Roll Call...

Frank is probably busy with his Saluki's so I'll start it for this month.

Rediscovered today, just how much I still love the sound of round motors in the morning.

Present and accounted for. Currently trying to decide whats more important to fix. My window regulators, climate control that won't turn off, exhaust dragging on the ground, blown rear shocks, weird seat fuse blowing problem, or the motor mounts. Anyone?

April is here, and my goals for this spring and summer - finish last years projects!!

Including but not limited to -
siding (one side left, the tallest one with all the service lines, of course)
railings on the new decks - (one down, two to go)
yard leveling and seeding - (4000sq' done about 1500sq' left)
basement remodel - (still in untaped drywall)
tile backsplash in remodeled kitchen - (my wife wants that one at the top)

oh, and build a ~400sq' raised bed garden before it's to late to plant.

Hey Swamp - which seeds are yours, New England seed????

Present. At least most of me is physically

April shall be The Month of Reconstruction on The Cottage for Ma and Ed. Got all the destruction done (me thinks) and ready to start bolting things back together. Found a contractor to help out with the addition of a bath upstairs (time is flying by fast enough we just might have to trade dollars for hours and let the contractor do stuff we'd hoped to do ourselves), and Darling Wife actually starting painting the downstairs last weekend.

Then all we have to do is actually move Ma & Ed. Given their serious pack rat type issues, that'll be all kinds of fun.....

Oh, and by the end of April we'll be down to 4 weeks left to get our house ready for the FHA inspection. And we've got a good 8 weeks worth of part time work left to do on it.

In June we sleep.
