"Conficker" Computer Virus Launch April1st

Anyone here about this virus called Conficker that is supposed to be launched on April1st and is supposed to be wicked nasty? Someone said something about it here at work.

If you have the windows patch from 10/08 you should alright for Conficker A, B and C. Errr thats what our IS guru's said. They were checking machines last week.

Yeah, the securuty guys at my work are flipping out over it.

I am not worried about it. Everyone has been freaked out about it, as its supposedly going to be turned on april 1.


Thing is its been active, downloading lists and files for weeks.


Anyways, they had a breakthrough this afternoon, as they found the worms fingerprint.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe MS and/or the spyware/maleware/antibot/etc companies devise some of these things when business gets slow.

im not worried. I just got my bomb shelter installed in the backyard behind the radiation shield. Its fulled stocked with a generator and lots of water and pork and beans!

I'm doubling up the layers on my Tin-foil hat and I'm trying out the new Non-stick tin-foil version too...I hears tell that when the radiation starts to heat up the tin-foil, the Non-stick stuff helps keep your hair from sticking inside the hat!!!
