Anyone here about this virus called Conficker that is supposed to be launched on April1st and is supposed to be wicked nasty? Someone said something about it here at work.

If you have the windows patch from 10/08 you should alright for Conficker A, B and C. Errr thats what our IS guru's said. They were checking machines last week.

I am not worried about it. Everyone has been freaked out about it, as its supposedly going to be turned on april 1.


Thing is its been active, downloading lists and files for weeks.


Anyways, they had a breakthrough this afternoon, as they found the worms fingerprint.
