Pro Flaring tool!
If your a hobby type user any of the usual tools mentioned will get the job done. If you're in a business which includes doing it right and getting it done; and you're the kind of guy who is not unwilling to invest in those two objectives you can't go wrong with this tool.
http://store.fedhillusa.com/flaringtools.aspx directions and a video here: http://www.fedhillusa.com/?page=tech2 These guys are great to do business with and have some unique products. They have high pressure splice fittings for SLS sytems and you won't find a better product than their Cunifer alloy line when it comes to getting all the lines with all the bends in place around the SLS valve. Good Luck! Klann also makes a fine tool! |

Well, years ago when he bought it, it was $40.00!
Don't go cheap! I mean, you're talking about brake lines here, not "break" lines! |

I think I still have a double-flare tool that I used for the metric SLS lines on my Euro 300D. It worked fine for me after a couple of practice flares. If you'd like, I can look for it and you can borrow it for cost of shipping.

In case this was overlooked....brake & fuel lines should be double flared.
