Here's an accident that hasn't happened yet . . .

In case you don't have a big pickup to tow your gooseneck trailer.

Class lll Hitch Install
Wouldn't you love to see how the trip went, reckon he ended up doin' some off roadin' somewhere. Check the "hills" in the background.

She's hitched up and ready to roll!! Amazin' how the extra weight smoothes out the ride.
Needed to air up the rear tires a bit ('bout 160 psi).

Added some heavy-duty chain for extra support on the tailgate, (note the 'Heavy-Duty 'S' hooks to attach the chain) Also paid-up for some BIG 5/16 sheet metal screws to attach the frame to the tailgate.
Yep, probably overkill, but didn't want the possibi lity of having an axerdent.

Most of the time was spent on the front porch whittling down that MASSIVE 4x4 to fit precisely into the ball mount receiver.
Note: The 14'x14' piece of 3/8' plywood on the underside of the tailgate to distribute the load more evenly.
'YOU CAN'T BE TOO SAFE, YOU'ALL!!'.
B'gosh it costs a little more, but jeez, you just can't be too safe.

Poor little 4.3 never did nothin' to nobody. Don't know why they gotta do like that.
My 4.3 surpassed 190000 and still running, but I have a pop-up

I'm not sure what to say, I imagine its fairly safe, since the engine in that truck can probably barely get it to 20mph. Is it really that hard to find an old pickup that could actually take the load? Some people try too hard at the wrong things... sigh.

Has to be a joke. I know there are some real morons out there, but I can't imagine anyone being THAT stupid.

It looks like something inspired by a psilocybin experience. Done as a statement of something so extremely stupid it can only be taken as a gag.

My guess is a transfer from one backyard to another. Probably went less than a block. That 4.3l in the Blazer would no doubt be able to make it roll(esp in 4 low), but would never be able to stop it. It is surprising that it could make it roll without tearing the tailgate off. Must be that extra heavy duty dog chain

we's on our way to the Darwin Awards

Meh. I pulled a trailer with ~1.5 tons of hay on it using my 4.0 Ranger. No, I didn't get past 25 When decellerating, the engine blew a vacumme hose for some reason?
