Look at the trouble you, as a SBO, have to go through just to get what is rightfully yours. And after all that trouble, you always end up on the losing end...sometimes (if not most!) the value of going after it exceeds the cost of the goods lost.

Corporal punishment needs to be brought back, and in a very demonstrative way...you rip off a business with a bum check, you sit in jail, or some work camp, 'til you get the business paid back (usually, a Work-Release set up).

As for the cash I'm getting now...I'm carrying a "counter-pen" to determine if the bills I'M RECEIVING are any good...some 1s and 5s I've received recently seemed a bit "hinky" when I was handling them...almost TOO white and thick. (Like me! )

Maybe public caning is the way to go...and we should start with the ACLU Attorneys/Lawyers first.

I believe you mean corporal punishment. Capital might be just a bit harsh for stealing. But I agree, quit putting petty thieves in jail for a week, until overcrowding gets them spit out again, and just start the caning or whipping. I am also a fan of the work camp and chain gang. Crime would drop if there was an ACTUAL deterrent.
As for the lawyers, it should be more difficult to become one, and easier to lose the privilege. Set the bar higher.
