Never fail to get a good laugh from Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-Fast-and-Furious-4-BMW-M5-Movie-Hero-Car-Vin-Diesel_W0QQitemZ110372769564QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item110372769564&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A317|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1307

I can't believe people are actually willing to pay for this crap...

*Car was bought as a 528i and made to look like an M5
*Inside is almost all the way stripped
*and best of all, you can still see the velcro from where the GPS was mounted!!!

I have been to a lot of car shows, this is easy entry into years of car show oohhs and aahhs. they even have a story board as part of the deal. whoever gets this will just trailer it from show to show would be my guess. I always wondered what happened to movie cars.....

I was suprised to see one of my dad's cars in the movie, a Year One Trans-AM. He has one of the two concepts, which were used for all the magazines and promotions... I'm going to have to check and see which car was used for the movie, but I know it was a hard top just like it.

A friend of mine works as a special effects coordinator (he did Death Race most recently) and he told me that after filming all vehicles are destroyed, something about tax purposes. Obviously some find their way off the set but as a rule they are supposed to be scrapped.

I love those modern retro wheels, now if only I could find someone to do AMG Penta's in a 17x8 & 17x9

I saw that movie last week. pretty gay. It was funny because when we got out, all the ricers in the lot were revving their engines and burning out and making a quick loud exit.

That's my favorite part of the movie series. Watching the dumb teenagers in half completed ricer projects coming and going. The funniest car I saw was a Suzuki sidekick with a wood screwed on body kit (unpainted, of course) complete with the stereotypical bondo, black primer, and a fart can.

During Tokyo Drift opening weekend, my friends and I sat at the Speed trap set up outside the theatre. What a hoot. They didn't do it this time around.

Yes Yes! I've done this. My friends sister had car trouble so we went out to help her. got her on her way, and saw all the cops getting parked in there speed trap positions. we sat there for about 15 minuets in his 69 Ranchero (this car)

we sat and waved to all the ricers, as they came to the stop sign before getting on the freeway where the speed trap was setup. we would wave at them and spin our fingers in the "light it up" signal. it was funny to hear them burn out and then hit the freeway straight into a speed trap! LOL
