PeachParts status update
First I would like to thank all of the Mercedes ShopForum members for their patience as we have been going through this transition to our new domain. Even though our domain has changed to PeachParts our forum is still the Mercedes ShopForum. What a way to celebrate our 10th anniversary!
It has only been 9 days since we changed our domain to Peachparts and I am pleased to report that we are making great strides in regaining our top search positions in Google. I have been spending most of my effort over the last several days trying to optimize our rankings. We still have a LONG way to go to get our nearly 2 million posts re-indexed on Google but, things are looking very good so far. Here are some common search terms that people might use to find us on Google Search and where we rank today: Search Term - Rank mercedesshop - #1 mercedes shop forum - #1 mercedes shopforum - #1 shopforum - #1 shop forum - #1 diesel discussion - #1 mercedes diesel forum - #3 mercedes forum - #8 mercedes technical information - #1 mercedes tech info - #2 mercedes benz parts - #15 mercedes parts - #20 Our old domain, mercedesshop.com, would show up in the top-5 for all of those but, peachparts.com did not even exist until less than 2 weeks ago. We could use your help with our next challenge... There are several websites on the internet that link to pages on our website. If you control any of these websites or know someone who does, we would really like to have those links updated to reflect our new domain. For example, if you posted something on another website and included a link to mercedesshop.com it needs to be updated to peachparts.com so the link will continue to function. Any help in this area would be appreciated. It is our intent to keep this website running strong for many years to come so we can continue to be a clearinghouse of detailed technical information, DIY guides and general support for owners of Mercedes vehicles. Thank you again for your support!

Best wishes, Bill. I'd stay with the forum if you changed it to "pansyparts.com". I might have trouble telling my mom.....

Wow, I just checked and pansyparts.com is available! Sounds like a great idea for a "slightly different" forum.

Ditto for me. I think with pansyparts we might lose Aklim, but he'd probably like pantiesparts
