Met a salesman today

More accurately, "saleswoman." She knew her ... material inside-out, understood exactly what my working group does, and was trying to sell me on her company's solution. I was thoroughly bedazzled. She fondled my brain in public. OMG. I wish I was looking for her product to buy.

That is all.

B

PS I need an excuse to go to 'lanta.

That is all.

I'd have to put one of those black strips over my eyes.

She fondled your brain and now you must find her. I suppose it's true what they say about us guys, that we think with "Dick D. Johnson." :P

It's a damn shame.

Or as my Dad used to say, "There's no fool like an old fool."

Check yourself in the mirror before you go home, in case she left lipstick smears on your pre-frontal lobes.

So what exactly was she trying to sell? Was it a product or a service?

BobK 04-16-2009 10:56 AM

hotlanta is a nice place. you've been working too hard. You need a few days R & R. May I suggest a trip to.....

"She fondled my brain in public", that's what I like, a nice cerebral relationship.

I don't think he even remembers what she was saying. Probably spent too much time watching her lips move and wondered what the other set looked like.

I'm guessing Bot's wife doesn't read his shop posts.

As long as Bot offers to share, would there be a problem? :D

A true professional in any field is a pleasure to watch work. I have watched Tiger Woods with great interest and I have never played a round of golf. I watched a tennis pro bat a tennis ball straight up in the air out of sight, and he caught it with his tennis racket and it never bounced. A pro baseball player sitting at ground level had a screaming grounder shoot his way at great velocity,,, he stuck his foot out sideways, the ball hit it, and sent straight up in the air, and came down right into his outstretched hand,,, his body never moved. As I said,, any true pro is a joy to behold.
