Ever send an email to the wrong recipient?

It was not a vulgar email- I dont do that, but kind of a crazy and goofy email to my mother - making plans of heading out for a little vacation trip with some of the family, so its a little embarrasing. I was telling her I could not find a clean shirt, so I would have to wash some before I wentto bed, and since we are all heading out from here in the morning, I am staying here at "home" and told her to take her shower first, then I will before we leave, etc. lol. I am a wxwatcher for a local TV station and accidentally sent it to them instead of my mother. What it is - where I created the email, I typed in "st", which brings up my mothers email and the tv stations email... I was just foolish and didnt click the right one. Obviously there is no way to "unsend" an email, so I guess when they check it in the morning, they will get a kick out of it.

OH yes!

And I have sent ones which were not helpful to me to the wrong people!

I'm getting better at hitting the right button now though!

Quite a few years back I typed up some termination papers for an employee in another state location. We always did the term/disciplinary paperwork so they were in the proper legalese and then would send to the manager of the division to handle the one on one. I sent it to the employee instead.

Gmail has a google goggle feature that will delay emails sent between certain hours. I have sent some work related emails that should have been sent at wee hours of the morning, i wasn't drunk but they were issues that had me tossing and turning so bad I came unglued. The first couple meant something but I think that they filter intracompany emails from me that are sent late at night to keep the peace.

I believe its a term for a weather watcher....

I just don't keep addresses in my address book, I keep them in my head and type in the one I want. Prevents those issues!

X2. And yes I have sent an e-mail to the wrong person but never anything bad.
