Cool beans man.

I have started shopping for my next lens. Sony lenses are stupid expensive though.

Try before you buy. And for many specialty lenses that you may use infrequently, it might make more sense to rent.

Damn someone though of my idea.

Well, the lense I bought is a replacement for the stock lense. the stock 55mm lens is ok for like shooting simple things but the 28-125mm IS USM lens is a wide angle/telephoto with f3.5-5.6....

Much better than the lense I have on the cam now.

well after some research my next lens will be a canon 70-200mm F2.8L series since its the lens to have in your arsenal. L series glass can be pricey. This lens retails for like $1300 new but I think I might be able to find a deal on one used or reman'd. The 70-200mm F4 is like $600 new but the f2.8L is soo superior and worth the money. Time to start saving lol

While in NJ, I saw my BIL take delivery of a Nikon 200mm 2.0 from B&H . . . what a bargain when you consider it comes with it's own case!

My next lens purchase--whenever funds, and competing projects permit--will be the 180mm f2.8 carl Zeiss Jena in M42. A 70 +/- year old design that still wroks as well as anything else on the market.
