DOES ANYONE HAVE A PIC OF THE STEERING WHEEL

Does anyone have a pic of the steering wheel of a early 80 or 70's benz, dimounted? What exactly I need to see is the center mount, how that thing looks where the wheel conects to the column.

Reason I ask, I have an old boat that I want to attach a Benz Wheel to. And that is cause the wheel that this old boat has is only 13" in diameter, I want something much bigger so that it is easier to turn, and the largest I have found here is 15" and crome, not too interested in that.

I know that this sounds crazy, but it is an old boat that I hardly use but when I do I want it to be easier to turn due to back/neck issues. And I want to make sure that this is feasible before I go to the real bad part of town to find an old steering wheel from a Benz.

Thanks

Iggy

Unfortunately I do not have a photo, I have an old Benz and I want to replace the steering wheel with one from a boat.

The early (pre-1974) W114's use a 17" steering wheel with a splined center for mounting. Late '73 on use the same size wheel but it has a urethane coating which probably wont hold up to the elements.
